MatchTalk is a product of CortexBit Limited. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This page summarizes how we handle data. The full, detailed Privacy Policy is maintained on our corporate site.
Key principles
- Your conversations are private. Characters do not share your data with other users.
- Each character's memory is isolated to your relationship. No cross-user leakage.
- No training on your conversations. Your data is never used to train or improve models.
- No selling data to third parties. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers.
- No cross-product tracking. What a character learns in MatchTalk stays in MatchTalk.
- You control your memory. Search, inspect, edit, or delete your runtime memory at any time.
Three separated layers of memory
Layer 1: Your Personal Data
Memory formed during your interactions. Fully under your control: view, edit, delete, export.
Layer 2: Character Configuration
The character's identity and personality. Service configuration, not personal data.
Layer 3: Aggregated Experience
De-identified, synthetic, or authored knowledge. Cannot be linked to any individual user.
Key principle: User runtime memory is never mixed with character configuration or aggregated experience. Deleting your data removes your personal data without affecting the character's identity.
